- Payment is required 50% upfront and 50% upon delivery of first draft (Quotes are valid for 7 days)

Our standard production timelines on graphic design, multimedia designs (photography and videography), social media content plan and any packages, offerings and services of King Hood Media and Consulting Pty Ltd are between 7-14 working days after we receive a signed off brief and all the required content from client.

All package prices exclude VAT, travel (If you are within Gauteng, we offer a 15 KM radius free from our offices in Alberton, Johannesburg, South Africa there after a R5.50/km will be charged. If you are not within Gauteng, all travel costs will be quoted separately.)
- In the event that the client does not give notice of cancellation for photo & video shoot events within 24 hours before the booking, the deposit shall be forfeited.
- If a photo or video booking is made and no deposit was given prior, and the client fails to give notice of cancellation within 24hours, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking shall be charged.
- It is the client’s responsibility for photo & video shoot to be punctual. We will not be liable for time lost due to client’s negligence; full amount for the time booked will still be charged. Any additional time will be seen as another booking and shall be charged accordingly.
- Additional photo and video shoots/extensions above the specified quote will be charged separately at our hourly rate of R1250.
- Detailed products are provided for each package and outlined in the PDF documents on our website.

We offer 2 free drafts (also known as a revisions or proofs) on all our offerings thereafter our hourly charge of R1250 applies for any additional changes. You will receive an email with a draft of your chosen offering via email (also known as a revision or proof), Let us know if you are happy over email, if not simply send us your desired changes over email we will do our best to make the necessary changes are met. We will then send an updated draft for sign off. If we do not hear back on email in 72 hours after sending a draft it is seen as the draft has been signed off.
- Social Media posting plans will be signed off monthly by the customer before posting. Changes point 9 will apply.
- Information requirement on Customer Questionnaire/Brief to be supplied. Delay caused by insufficient information to proceed with deliverables point 9 will apply.
- Critical communication for changes to be done in writing before the project deadline.
- Video Packages – Voice Overs: The Voice Over Artist’s quoted on our packages are based on our standard artists list for a 2-3 minute read – License: Online use only e.g. Web and Social Media, please email admin@kinghood.co.za for more about our artists and usage rights. Please note any special requests for voice over artists may increase the Voice Over costs substantially please email admin@kinghood.co.za for more information.
- Video Packages – Stock Footage: The Gold and Animated Explainer Packages include 5x Free Stock Footage Clips. These 5x Free Stock Footage Clips are selected by our team on your behalf, please note should any changes (From the 5x Free Stock Footage Clips provided by our team) or additional stock video clip/s be required for your video, an additional cost will be charged at R650 per stock footage video clip.
- Video Packages – Music: The Video Packages include 1x Free Stock Audio / Music Clip. The 1x Free Stock Audio / Music Clip is selected by our team on your behalf, please note should any changes (From the 1x Free Stock Audio / Music Clip provided by our team) or additional stock Audio / Music clip/s be required for your video, an additional cost will be charged at R500 per stock Audio / Music clip.
- Ecommerce Website Package – Shopify monthly fees: Please note all King Hood Media and Consulting’s packages exclude the monthly Shopify costs. These monthly fees are set up directly with Shopify by the customer and paid for monthly by the customer directly to Shopify. Shopify payment terms apply. Website domains not included and will be quoted separately.
- Websites: Stage 1. Initial Meeting to set objectives and goals for website. Please note: Website monthly/yearly hosting and domain fees are not included in our “Standard Website Package.” Stage 2. Website content is required from client; photos, website copy, videos etc (We also have web graphic designers, photographers, videographers and copy writers to assist (Please note this is however a separate fee and will be quoted separately)Stage 3. Building the website. Once a WordPress account, domain and plan are registered by the client, we would require the WordPress login details to be able to start building the website. A once off standard website build takes 7-14 working days to build after we receive a signed off brief and all the required content.*Optional Extra: We offer a monthly website maintenance plan at R5250 Per Month. This includes Security Updates, Content Updates, Product Management and Organic SEO, Keyword Management & Admin Fees. - King Hood Music Sample Packs: The Sounds remain the property of its manufacturer and/or Origin Sound. (Collectively, King Hood Media & Consulting Pty Ltd) and are licensed to you as the original end-user (“Licensee”), for use subject to the provisions below. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved exclusively by King Hood Media & Consulting Pty Ltd. The Sounds in a category of ‘Sample Pack https://kinghoodmedia.com/samplepacks/ ‘:The Licensee may use the Sounds in combination with other sounds in music productions (which include soundtracks of such as films, video productions, radio/TV programs or commercials, computer games and multimedia presentations, library music), public performances, and other reasonable musical purposes within musical compositions. The Licensee may modify the Sounds and may use the Sounds for commercial purposes as part of a musical composition with other sounds.
1. The Licensee MAY NOT use the Sounds in isolation as sound effects or as loops (i.e. a
sequence of musical events) or any competitive products that are sold or relicensed to
multiple third parties.
2. A right to use the sounds is granted only to the Licensee and is NOT transferable.
3. This license expressly forbids resale, relicensing or other distribution of the Sounds, either
as they exist or any modification thereof. You cannot sell, loan, rent, lease, assign, upload to
or download from any server, or transfer all or any of the enclosed sounds to another user,
or for use in any competitive product.
4. Licensor will not be responsible if the sounds does not fit the particular purpose of the
Licensee. - Printing:
In any contract that may arise out of an estimate customers will be deemed to have ordered subject to the following standard conditions and recognised customs of the printing industry in South Africa unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Estimates and Quotations not accepted within THIRTY DAYS thereof shall be deemed withdrawn and cancelled.
2. Customer shall pay for any Preliminary Work which is produced at his request whether experimentally or otherwise.
3. Proofs, pulls, samples, specimens, sketches, photographs or any representation, whether partial or total, of the finished artwork in whatever form may be submitted to the customer for approval. After approval the customer shall have no claim against the printer for errors in the exemplar as approved by him/her. Changes required by customer, other than the correction of printer’s errors, may be charged for.
4. Goods will be despatched or must be collected by customer when ready and customer shall not refuse or delay to take delivery. Payment is due when goods are ready for despatch or collection.
5. When required to Expedite Delivery ahead of the time needed for proper production the printer shall not be liable for defects occasioned thereby. Should such delivery require payment of overtime wages, and other additional costs or delivery charges, all such extras are for the customer’s account.
6. The customer shall accept as good and complete delivery, and shall pay the contract price pro rata for any quantity that does not exceed or fall short of the quantity ordered by more than ten per cent.
7. Complaints and Claims will only be entertained if received by the printer in writing within THIRTY DAYS of delivery.
8. Standing matter and Printer’s materials of any kind whatever, may be distributed, effaced or disposed of immediately after the order is executed unless written arrangements are made for retention. The Printer may charge rent for storage of goods retained at customer’s request. Origination work shall remain the property of the printer, unless otherwise agreed upon with the customer.
9. The customer warrants that: Any paper, plates, film, discs or other materials supplied by the customer is of a good condition and suitable for the purpose for which it is supplied. We may reject such materials find we consider them to be unsuitable.
All computer software or other media upon which any information materials or instructions are stored which is supplied by the customer is free from all computer viruses or other instructions or sequences which may adversely affect the operation of any computer or software programme or access to any electronically held information. No responsibility is accepted by us for any loss cost or claim caused by defect in or unsuitability of materials so supplied or specified or failure or delay in supply. The customer will supply the quantities of materials advised in our estimates as and when advised by us. We may revise such quantities advised at any time as work proceeds by agreement with the customer.
Electronic Files: It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a copy of any original electronic file. We shall not be responsible for checking the accuracy of data supplied on electronic files unless otherwise agreed. We shall not be required to download any digital data from our equipment or supply the same to the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. The printer shall not be required to reproduce any matter which in his opinion is Illegal or Defamatory. The customer shall indemnify the printer against any claims, costs and expenses arising out of infringement of copyright, trade marks, patent or design.
11. Unless otherwise agreed either party may terminate any contract for printing a Periodical Publication by giving not less than three months notice in writing. Nevertheless the printer may forthwith terminate any such contract should monies due remain unpaid or should any other of these conditions be breached.
12. Any contract is subject to cancellation or to variation by reason of Force Maieure from any and every cause whatsoever beyond the printer’s control including inter alia: inability to securelabour, materials, power or supplies, or by reason of Act of God, War, Civil Disturbances, Riot, State of Emergency, Strike, Lockout or other Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or Legislation.
13. The printer may recover from the customer any increase in cost of production which occurs between the acceptance andexecution of any order.
14. The printer shall not be required to work to tolerances closer than those applicable to the materials obtained by him in the ordinary course of trade. No liability shall arise from variations in the standard, quality and performance of such materials.
15. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to determine whether the goods ordered by him/her are suitable for the purpose for which he/she intends using them. The printer gives no warranty, express or implied, concerning the suitability of the goods supplied for any purpose what so ever. The printer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or other loss, including loss to Third Parties, arising out of errors in carrying out a contract or by delay in delivery, or by unsuitability of goods for use as intended.
16. If the customer is unable to pay its debts as they fall due or (being a company) has a winding-up petition issued against it or receiver administrator or liquidator appointed in respect of it or (being an individual) has a bankruptcy petition issued against him or interim order made against him without prejudice to other remedies we shall have the right not be proceed further with this contract or any other work for the customer and be entitled to immediate payment for work already carried out (whether completed or not) and materials purchased pursuant to this contract. In respect of all unpaid debts due or becoming due from the customer we have a general lien on all the customer’s goods and property in our possession (whether worked on or not) and shall be entitled on the expiration of 14 days notice to the customer advising of our intention to exercise the powers in this condition to dispose of such goods or property in such manner to such person and at such price as we think fit to apply the proceeds in or towards such debts. -
